This section describes the tools to review devices, populate data, populate sheath information and equipment information across the drafted fiber network features.

The Populate > Global command routes through the fiber network and calculates the number of fibers required.

Design the CATV Fiber Layout

1. From the Modify/Delete section of the Fiber Tab click on the Populate Global command on the drop-down:

   

2. Select a device, either node or fiber segment, on the route to design.

   The fiber can also be designed by using a fence. The fence must be placed before selecting the command and must include the light source within the fence.

3. The devices are verified as the design is routing through the network. A dialog box opens showing the number of segments designed.
4. Once completed, Review or Override the designed fibers.
